My branch arm has also come out of the kiln and has been transformed. I am particularly happy with the bluey/green colours on the underside of the arm and I am excited to see the detail of all the little forget -me -not flowers I painted. I am finding the very vibrant green a little bit gaudy and unnatural. This is the result of using untested colours. But, I am starting to get use to it. The arm is very busy, covered with flowers and colour but I feel that this contrasts beautifully with the delicate, soft, white form of the branch and hand. I would like to paint the little buds on the arm gold, as this was my original plan and I hope that the arm will look even more ornate and beautiful when complete.
