Another artist I have chosen to research is Issac Cordal, who created this arresting and ironic piece. His work often consists of sculpture and photography in urban environments. The image above is a photograph of an instillation of miniature politicians discussing global warming, whilst a puddle rises and begins to submerge them. Cordal demonstrates to us the slow pace of the government in sorting out important issues and their inability and perhaps unwillingness to make hard decisions which really count. His work speaks of the condition of the environment and its relentless deterioration which needs to be resolved with more than words.
