Hmmmmmmmmmmm, so we had some problems firing. Due to no one’s fault, the wrong cones (that measure the temperature of the kiln) went into the wrong kiln, meaning the top tiles that were supposed to go to 1000 degrees went to 1140 and that we had to guess when we turned the 1140 off meaning they are possibly under fired. Although the top tiles seemto have simply burnt away, one of the bottom ones did work! Here in both of them you can see the desired effect, but in one the pieces crumble off to the touch. But hey, at least we know I can mix glazes! I have no plans for this glaze as of yet, but I am very happy to have tried it.
