‘Seeds of Change’ which was harbored at Bristol a few years ago for the Arnofini is a very exciting project idea. The large industrial looking barge housed many different types of plants, from vegetables to corn whose seeds were found in the Bristol harbor side water, some hundreds of years old. The main concept of the piece that i love is bringing gardening into an urban environment, the plants add a beautiful liveliness to the riverside as well as causing curiosity and interest in the locals. This piece may encourage people to take up their own gardening or simply reconnect them with nature, even if only for a few minutes. this artwork serves to remind us what innovation we can achieve when we work with nature.
