moroccan summer flower

orange-blossom

Apparently spring is by far the best time to visit Morocco, March, April and May. The valleys are blooming with spring flowers and it’s not yet too hot. March is when the the orange blossoms start appearing on the trees and being sold in the souks. Moroccan women distil the fragrant, waxy white flowers to produce orange flower water. This is sprinkled into mint tea and over your head and hands in religious ceremonies

These flowers will be difficult to stitch on to my rats as they are also white, but im sure ill find a way around it. I could try lining the edges with blue, or just try giving the flower a background.
