morocco autumn flower

Nerine_bowdenii_For my autumn flower i have decided on Nerine bowdeni. It is in the Amaryllidaceae family and is a herbaceous bulbous perennial which grows up to 45cm tall! it is often called the Cape flower and the cornish lily although it is neither a lily or from cornwall, it originates in africa.

When i come to do this in my final piece i will need to get hold of some pink wool but for tomorrow my reds will have to do. This may be a tricky design to do but once i have practiced it a few times im sure it will turn out great.
